About ICS Research Grants

The International Continence Society (ICS) aims to advance bladder and bowel science, promote multidisciplinary continence care and encourage the development of continence services in less economically-developed countries.

Aims and Objectives
The purpose of the ICS-sponsored Research Grants is to fund the development of research in the science of bladder and bowel incontinence. Seed funding grants (support grants) are available to facilitate a) the development of new international, multidisciplinary research partnerships and b) the execution of pilot research projects performed with the aim of preparing for subsequent grant application to a major funding agency.

To be eligible, applicants for both grants need to:


Deadline for the next grant submissions: 1st April each year

Presentation and Publication
Recipients of the International multidisciplinary pilot project grant are required to submit an abstract of their completed research for presentation at the next ICS annual meeting.
