ICS Conference Travel Award
Conference travel awards (closing date for applications 1st July)
The ICS aims to advance bladder and bowel science, promote multi-disciplinary continence care and encourage the development of continence services in less economically developed countries.
Eligibility
The ICS conference travel awards are designed to help meet these objectives by assisting members from three key groups who are likely to lack resources to travel and attend the annual meetings.
Support
The total award will not exceed £2000 and will cover:
- Conference Registration (this will be arranged automatically by the secretariat)
- Registration for one workshop
- Travel support of up to £600
- Accommodation for up to 5 nights (in a hotel near the conference venue as designated and booked by the secretariat)
- Living expenses totalling £100
Applications
Applicants need to be ICS members (or agree to join the ICS within one month of receipt of the award) and have submitted an abstract which has been accepted.
Successful applicants will be required to attend the duration of the conference including the closing ceremony. Approximately 5 awards will be given
each year.
