The host city-Beijing
Beijing is renowned for its rich cultural relics and historical sites. Iconic sites include the Great Wall,Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Forbidden City, etc. which make it a top tourist city in China. It will be hosting the Summer Olympic Games in 2008. Compared with other major cities, its crime rate is among the lowest, the consumption costs ate significantly lower and its social and political stabilities are excellent.
 
Accessibility
Getting into and out of Beijing is very convenient. Sixty-six airlines operate 102 domestic and 123 internationalair routes at the Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA). More than 5,000 scheduled flights are availableevery week to 88 cities in China and 69 cities abroad. The airport is located 25km from the city center andconnected by easy transportation. It takes only 11 minutes by Airport Express train to reach the city center.Other transportation services such as shuttle bus and taxi are also available.
 
Proposed conference venue
The proposed venue for this meeting is the China National Convention Center (CNCC), which is China's largest and newest international conference center with primary location and completed facilities. It is located within the magnificent Olympic Green Park in the north of Beijing. It is 25 minutes’ drive from the airport and is within easy reach of Beijing’s major travel and scenic spots.
 
Visa
An international visitor need to have a valid passport with a visa for entry into China. The Chinese Medical Association, authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China for visa invitation, will send visa invitations to all participants upon receipt of request.
